B.A./M.S. 3+2 Program

Bard College students majoring in economics or a related field (such as political science, finance, or math) have the option of taking part in a 3+2 program that leads to both an undergraduate liberal arts degree (B.A.) and the Levy MS degree in five years.

Program Overview

To take part in the combined B.A./M.S. program, students must first meet all of their undergraduate major and distribution requirements within the allotted three years. In the spring of their third year, students complete a semester-long Junior Project instead of the yearlong Senior Project required of students enrolled in a four-year course of study. At the beginning of their fourth year, students enter the two-year Levy MS program. Students must complete all of the Core Courses and their choice of electives to meet the requirements for the M.S. degree. Click on the button below for a sample course of study.
